June 12, 2021, the Executive Committee of the Northeastern Jurisdiction Native American Ministries Committee joined with the NAIC's Call To Action stated in their Children's Advocacy Letter in response to the announcement in May 2021 that the remains of 215 Indigenous children had been found on the grounds of the Kamloops Indian Residential School in Ottawa Canada. In May 2020 the NEJNAMC joined in solidarity to protect Mashpee Wampanoag Sovereignty Rights through a letter writing campaign to pass the Mashpee Wampanoag Reservation Reaffirmation Act. Click below for the full statement.

Nov. 23, 2020 The Members of the Executive Committee of the Northeastern Jurisdiction Native American Ministries Committee of The United Methodist Church wrote a letter in Solidarity with the NAIC regarding the call for reinstatement of Rev. Neal Christie in his position at The United Methodist Church General Board of Church & Society.
